Intro
Ho K'yak'yali:kwe (Eagle) deyan Dona:kwe (Turkey) a:wan cha'le. Since my early childhood years I have always been amazed and inspired by paintings from various Zuni artist that depicted ceremonies, scenes, and stories of Zuni religion. I grew up in a all around artistic family from both sides of my parents just as many other artist have. Art in Zuni has many deep meanings to many individuals, to me it is a story line that keeps our morals and teachings in a place of continuation. I started painting in high school after I had graduated in 2018 from Cleveland High in Rio Rancho, NM. I seen my progression and skillset to grow to what soon will not only be a hobby, but a artistic continuing of my last name. Living in Albuquerque, NM away from Zuni painting has help me feel the comfort of home from paintings hanging on walls. Paloma.Art is one of many continuing to fill homes with Zuni Heritage and may it fill yours. E'lah'kwa
